Romeo and Juliet at Hertford BEAM Theatre - KS4 Student's Trip

On Wednesday 30th September, seven KS4 students from Rivers Educational Support Centre enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at BEAM Theatre in Hertford, watching The Duke’s Theatre Company’s vibrant production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Students and staff alike were excited to see Shakespeare’s iconic story of love, conflict and tragedy brought to life on stage. Directed by Joseph Pitcher, the production offered a bold reimagining of this timeless tale, accompanied by original music by composer Rob Millett.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to experience the play beyond the classroom and see the characters, relationships and themes come alive in the performance.

Our students represented Rivers brilliantly throughout the afternoon, and it was fantastic to see them enjoying such a memorable cultural and educational experience.
